If an earring is worn that has a tendency to fall forward or turn under, it loses the desired effect as well as causes discomfort to the ear. The purpose of the special ear back is to correct this problem. This piece is available in solid 14K white gold and yellow gold. We recommend the medium special ear backs for studs 1.0 carat each and large special ear backs for studs 1.5 carat each and above.

The special ear back will cause the earring to sit in the proper position and catch the light most effectively.
