One of the most fun things about a wedding is the events ahead of it \u2013 and that includes the bachelorette party! It\u2019s a great reason to bring all the bride\u2019s besties together for some group fun. For years, Birkat Elyon has had a hand in the wedding business with its collection of gorgeous cubic zirconia wedding and engagement rings<\/a>, so we offer a few tips on planning the perfect bachelorette party.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Traditionally, the maid of honor is in charge, but there\u2019s no reason a small group of friends can\u2019t plan it. Start by considering what kind of party you want: a weekend destination or a single-day event. A destination party will require additional levels of planning (details coming up).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pick a theme. This makes planning activities, food, and\nd\u00e9cor a lot easier. Next, determine how many guests you\u2019ll have, as that will\nimpact your location.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When picking a destination location, consider a few things. What kind of climate do you want? Would guests prefer outdoor activities like hiking or more urban-flavored ones like fancy restaurants? Also, take into account the time of year and related travel costs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Now, choose a date \u2013 preferably two to four options that\nwork best for the bride. Give yourself at least six months in advance for the\nparty in order to get the best rates for travel and accommodations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When it comes to accommodations, experts suggest renting a\nhouse for large groups. It\u2019s more affordable and allows for a comfortable\n\u201cgroup hang\u201d environment. However, if you plan a hotel stay, book at least one\nsuite which will serve as an informal communal space to share a drink or some\nlaughs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Plan some group meals. To keep it simple, ask the restaurant\nto arrange a limited menu that includes a set number of drinks. If your guests\nwant to order on their own, announce at the start of the meal that the bill\nwill be split evenly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Finally, confirm attendance. Four months ahead of the party,\nreach out to attendees with estimated costs for the event, so that they can\nmake their final decision. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
