Celebrity couples are just like us (sort of). They fall in love and decide to put a ring on it. The only difference is, they tend to choose bigger, more extravagant pieces. Well, sometimes. Foster is the Grammy-winning composer who was famously featured on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills<\/em> before his marriage to Yolanda Hadid imploded. McPhee was the runner-up on the fifth season of American Idol<\/em> (where he mentored her). Their relationship began as a working one but soon became a romance \u2013 despite the 34-year age difference. The couple says that their shared interest in the music industry is what bonds them. David proposed with an emerald-cut diamond with a pave\u2019 band, which came with extra-sentiment: McPhee notes that she shared it with her late father, right before he passed away.<\/p>\n

JOHN MELLENCAMP AND MEG RYAN<\/h3>\n

The two have been on and off again in recent years but finally made it official.
